They make an effort to be modern and offer healthier choices, from kale to quinoa, and they often succeed. The food is nothing unusual, but is fresh, it is tasty, it is abundant. the atmosphere is relaxed, locals, families, friends go there, and it is overall pleasant. Maybe not worthy of a drive, but if you already are in Malibu, definitely worthy of a stop. The food is nicely done, with wholesome, healthy ingredients and the portions are quite large. You can eat breakfast at any time of day. They serve whole plates, sandwiches, and salads all day as well. The one weakness they might have is the wait staff. They are not as interested in what you order and are often busy elsewhere (and not with other customers). Still, it is a nice place to enjoy a meal.
